A Filipina domestic worker wows Hong Kong with her sustainable fashion creations. Elpie Malicsi is working in Hong Konh as a domectic helper but the Sustainable Sunday Couture exhibit warmly invited her to display her environment-friendly recycled creations to be marveled at by on-lookers.
Through the use of plastic shopping bags and used coffee sachets, this Filipina domestic worker has reached unimaginable heights. No one would have thought that a maid was capable of something like this but Elpie’s creativity and passion proved us all wrong.

GMA News’ Nelson Canlas reported that the domestic worker constructed a number of sustainable, “multi-way” gowns. We want everyone to realize how impressive this is because the dresses that Elpie made can be worn in a number of ways.
