However we cannot deny the fact that there are lots of filpino citizens whose not so good at using this dialect . Evwn though they are aware that they lack of knowledge about this dialect , they still grab the opportunity to be a domestic helper for good purposes.
Recently a Filipina worker destined on JEDDAH SAUDI ARABIA was sent by her empolyee back to the country because they are having trouble understanding each other . The said Filipina doesn't know how to speak nor understand English language .
In an interview of GMA , the filipina admitted that she donr understand this language.
““Hindi po ako marunong, ni isa po, pag sinasabihan ako ng how are you hindi ko rin po maisagot. Yuko na lang po ako,” she shared.
She also shared that she only finished GRADE 2 on elementary level due to lack of financial support . She had a live in partner when she was 15 year old but the guy is now in jail .
According to her , she applied as a domestic helper behind the fact that she really didn't know how to communicate in ENGLISH . . She then revealed that it was her recruiter who did all the transactions and all she did was sign the docouments .
Becaus of this incident , a lot of people shared their different reactions to this unfortunate experience of the Filipina ,Many condemned the agency that allowed her to work abroad despite her lack of proficiency with English while others hope that her story will serve as a lesson for others to really persevere to learn the language.
