It can be remembered that Robin Padilla blatantly expressed his disapproval over his daughter, Kylie Padilla‘s unmarried status to her beau, Aljur Abrenica. While the latter did his best to get the veteran action star’s approval, Robin remained stoic about the situation.
“I am a father, and all fathers want their children to get married. If he married her, then we won’t have any issue.”
Thankfully, Aljur and his supporters can finally take a breather because the actor has finally gained Robin Padilla’s approval.
The highly-awaited interaction between Robin and Aljur happened during a family dinner, as seen on the Instagram accounts of Kylie, Aljur, and Robin Padilla ‘s wife, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla.
On February 18, 2018, Mariel took to Instagram to share the fruitful family dinner and captioned it with:
“Because FAMILY is EVERYTHING.”

Robin Padilla immediately replied on his wife’s post and revealed that Aljur would not have received his approval if it weren’t because of Mariel’s support.

To which the TV host replied,
