Katawan Ng Isang Suspect Na OFW Natagpuan Sa Isang Freezer Sa Bansang Kuwait.

The Philippine government’s recent decision to temporarily suspend OFW deployment to Kuwait is turning out to be a good call. Just recently, it was reported that the lifeless body of a suspected Filipina domestic helper was found inside a freezer in an abandoned apartment unit.
Local cops were roaming the building located at Salmiya, Kuwait when they discovered the corpse. The officials were convinced that the body has been in storage for more than a year. The landlord, who was dumbfounded by the gruesome finding, supplied that the apartment was last rented back in 2016.

The last occupants of the said unit, a Syrian woman and a Lebanese man who had a Filipina maid, are considered as the main suspects. This information supported the belief that the lifeless corpse belonged to a Filipina. Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III told GMA-7 that their labor attache has filed a case to identify the body.
He added:
“The embassy has been alerted. It has convened its legal team immediately to work with Kuwait police and forensics, to look into the case and confirm the identity and nationality of the fatality, in addition to taking the necessary legal action on the case.“
