Rappler’s Francis Joseph Cruz, in his piece, marked the movie as “highly recommended.” Macky Macarayan, from 8List.PH, stated that it was “not your ordinary romcom.” Fred Hawson, another film reviewer, was even quoted as saying:
“Its success clearly hung on the relatability of its script and the sincerity of its actors — and this one had both winning ingredients.”
Carlo and Bela attended Moira dela Torre’s “Tagpuan” concert held at the Kia Theater in Quezon City. Bela, apparently, performed with Moira onstage as she was a special guest during the event. After her number, she could not hold in her nervousness. This prompted Carlo to carry Bela backstage.
Spring Films, the company that produced “Meet Me in St. Gallen,” took footage of their touching backstage moment and published it on their official Instagram page.
The caption reads:
“EXCLUSIVE Backstage Kagapanan from last night’s Concert of Moira. Di Kinaya ni Celeste ang Kaba. Buti nalang andiyan si Jesse. Hayst Paano nalang si Celeste kung walang Jesse?? Pero teekaaaa Shaaan kayo punta?? St Gallen?”
