A netizen named Prince Kleid just happened to witness the young sampaguita vendor’s performance and took a video of it. He uploaded the video to Facebook on December 23, and it has garnered around 8,100 reactions, 59,398 shares, and over 3,000,000 views as of this writing.

Many netizens commended the young sampaguita vendor for his undeniable talent and filled the comments section with praises such as “idol” and “galing.” Some also tagged the official Facebook page of “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (KMJS) as the lifestyle show is known for covering viral sensations and out-of-the-ordinary human interest stories.

The story of the young boy’s awe-inspiring performance was eventually picked up by GMA News. One netizen commented on the GMA News post about the young sampaguita vendor and claimed that she was able to watch the boy’s previous performance. She recalled that he sang Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life.”
Upon further probing, a few netizens have claimed that the boy’s name is “Charles.” A Facebook user then tagged what seemed like the singing sampaguita vendor’s Facebook account (Berlos Charles) in the comments section.
